Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using OCD Rewire ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Not a Medical Service

OCD Rewire is a self-help wellness tool designed to support users in managing OCD symptoms. The App:

• Is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or clinical treatment
• Does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or therapy
• Is not a substitute for professional mental health care

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. User Accounts

• You may create an account using email, phone number, or Apple Sign-In, or use the App without an account (local mode).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions & Purchases

• The App offers a VIP subscription with additional features.
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their refund policies.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's subscription settings.

6. AI Chat Feature

• The AI chat feature uses third-party AI providers to generate responses.
• AI responses are for informational and supportive purposes only and do not constitute professional advice.
• You are responsible for providing your own API key when using non-VIP AI features.
• We are not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
• Do not rely on AI responses for medical decisions or crisis situations.

7. User Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Health and wellness data is stored locally on your device.
• You are responsible for backing up your own data.
• Uninstalling the App or clearing app data will permanently delete locally stored information.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
• Misrepresent the App's features as professional medical services

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in the App are owned by or licensed to OCD Rewire. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OCD Rewire and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or content
• Health outcomes related to the use or inability to use the App
• Reliance on AI-generated content
• Service interruptions or errors

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
